Then I cut small pieces out and cover all the holes around the outer edges bottom and top and that seals all those holes. That is an easy fix to cover the holes people are complaining about. There are a bunch of holes in the center and I leave those open for rain to go through but I buy a 36 inch round float, blow it up and put it under those holes which holds the cover off the pool so the pool water does not come through. This seems like a lot of work but if you do this one time I get the full summer out of the cover so you only need to do this one time to stop the water from coming through around the outer edges. The 36 inch round float keeps the water in certain areas of the cover and after rain I use a pump to get it off.
